Graduated last month with a Masters Degree in Management in Health Care Administration.
Wonderful!
I finished my Masters Degree in July for Computer forensics and now put those skills to work, joined Toastmasters @ JHU (new club) and constantly read up on new technologies to further my development.
Cheers!
I completed a 1 day seminar Business Writing and Grammar Skills Made Easy an currently enrolled in Composition and Expository Writing class which is required to obtain AA in Health Information
I graduated this month with my Bachelors in Health Care Management, next I will be taking a class for Health IT. With all facillities converting to EHR, this is a neccesity!
Congratulations!
I took a 2 day lean sigma course to increase my non-clinical knowledge
I am currently enrolled in a Global Health and a Management II course which is part of my Health Care Management Undergrad degree with an expected graduation date of December 2014. I am also seeking mentoring opportunities and have been actively in communication with potential mentors. One of my goals this year is to join Toastmasters Club; while I'm confident giving power point presentations in a classroom setting, it's necessary to have additional presentation skills beyond academia.
I'm making sure to pay attention to what's going on around me. I've recently taken some training for EPIC, since that directly impacts what I do at my job, but I've also begun some self-enrichment outside of Hopkins (which helps to exercise my brain). I'm working at learning Spanish (and would LOVE an opportunity to practice speaking Spanish), and have accepted some minor speaking and leadership roles in my church and community as well.
Becoming ICD-10 ready by self-study in preparation for proficiency exam. #changeseverything
