Do you prefer the horror classics, such as Frankenstein or Dracula, the unsettingly frightful movies such as Carrie, Poltergeist, or the newer generation, such as Friday the 13th and Paranormal Activity? Whether the lead was a zombie, possessed child or ghost, share what's your favorite Halloween movie?

Nightmare on Elm Street
Classic movie of all time is Halloween with Jamie Lee Curtis
I ASBOLUTELY LOVE HALLOWEEN! If you saw my house on All Hallows Eve night you would agree. We really do it up. So with that being said, I would have to say my all time favorite is the original "Halloween", with Jamie Lee Curtis. Every Halloween when all the trick or treaters are done, we sit down to watch it, It's become a tradition in my home. : ) P.S. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! For any nay sayers out there, your never " too old" for Halloween. It's the one night of the year where you can dress up and be what ever or who ever you want, and it's no one will ever know, it's your secret alter ego. ; )
Something Evil This Way Comes, ...........Sleep Hollow w/ Johnny Depp
Hocus Pocus is about as scary as I can handle......can't do the others.....would cause nightmares and I enjoy my sleep too much for that. So Hocus Pocus or maybe Casper.
Definitely prefer the Poltergeist types...no slasher thrillers for me.
Hocus Pocus is our favorite Halloween movie. Bette Midler is hilarious. A must watch 'family' movie.
The GEICO Zombie commercial. That's all the scary I can handle.
Whoa, let's not go putting labels on people.
Young Frankenstein is the most fun to run on a continuous loop at Halloween parties. Always too funny
Fargo. It's good anytime.
I have so many! I guess at the top would be Children of the Corn, all of the Nightmare on Elm Streets, Chucky, and the Saw series.
The remake of Halloween by Rob Zombie is amazing and much better than the original (by director John Carpenter). Not all remakes are worth watching - but this one is.
..........that would be Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp............
I try to watch it every year around Halloween.........
Love watching "Hocus Pocus" with my family! Don't care for scary, creepy, gross....
Hocus Pocus is the ultimate Halloween movie! It's a classic!
Halloween is not a date that I celebrate or set apart for any special reason. However, my favorite scary movie, if you could call it that, is Van Helsing about the vampires, werewolves, and other dreaded things that possibly lurk in the night.
My favorite movie is friday the 13th.
Children of the Corn. So creepy.
I'm not big on scary movies, but I do like most of Alfred Hitchcock movies
Abbott & Costello meet Frankenstein. I loved that movie as a kid!
It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!
Hands down, Shaun of the Dead.
I agree! One of my Favorites!
Charlie Brown's and the Great White Pumpkin
Darkness Falls
I'd have to go with the first 'Halloween' starring Michael Myers and Jamie Lee Curtis in her film debut.
The Blob
I love Halloween the original.. and of course Poltergeist... (They're Here!)
