Epic Steelers win over the Cowboys. My high school girlfriend's dad let me drink a beer.

I love the Super Bowl but from year to year I forget who played and what the score was. However, I always remember the commercials. Even 20 years later I remember those commercials. My favorite 2 commercials are 1) the small child dressed up as Darth Vader starting the car and 2) Mean Joe Green.

Back in 1991 the Super Bowl was in Tampa. I didn't have tickets to the game but the mall across the street had set up a big screen in the parking lot so we could watch it on TV but "hear it live". We got to hear Whitney Houston sing the National Anthem - I have never EVER heard anyone sing it like she did - it still gives me goosebumps, she had such a lovely voice.

Great game that year and I totally agree Mary, Whitney's voice was awesome!

I live near the Ravens and Orioles stadia, and can frequently hear the roar of the crowds when something wonderful is happening. The last time the Ravens won the super bowl, my cousin was visiting with me and is also a Ravens fan. (I admit I primarily watch super bowl games for the commercials, but since the Ravens were playing, it was fun to watch the whole game.) When the final score was announced, you could hear the roar of the crowds, and people started rushing out of their homes. There was an impromptu celebration near the Cross Street Market (between Federal Hill and SoBo neighborhoods) and we walked down to join the crowds. It was exciting to be in the middle of the celebration.

My most memorable Super Bowl memory was when the Baltimore Ravens won Super Bowl XLVII in 2013. Surrounded by family and friends, we celebrated the joyous victory with a heavy heart. The previous February, we lost my father and felt his presence throughout the game, even when the lights went out at the Superdome. The mixture of emotion was great, but it was wonderful to see our Ravens pull out the win in the end. We knew we had an angel referee watching with us.
