I really had more than one and they were Betty Davis, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, Doris Day, and my not so old favorite, Bruce Lee.
Again so many are listed. I reiterate Humphrey Bogart, Katherine Hepburn. Lauren Bacall, Audrey Hepburn, Sean Connery, Ingrid Bergman, and Cary Grant. I love old movies!
oh, and my favorite "worst actors" are of course, Elvis and Nancy Sinatra!
Bella Lugosi and other great b&w movie horror film actors. They could scare you to death without a single drop of blood. Watched them during the summer on the Late,Late Show and couldn't fall asleep! I'm still afraid of vampires no matter how 'trendy' they are.
Fred Gwynne! with Yvonne DeCarlo, Butch Patrick, Al Lewis, and Pat Priest...the Munsters are my absolute favorite! "Darn, Darn, DARN-DARN-DARN"
Sidney Poitier in " To Sir With Love", "Guess Who is Coming to Dinner" and Sidney Poitier teamed with Harry Belafonte in "Buck and the Preacher . Yul Brenner, Steve McQueen and the rest of the cast of "The Magnificient Seven". Of course there is also John Wayne, Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson in "Rio Bravo"... fabulous old Hollywood!!
As a native North Carolinian, I gotta go with Ms. Ava Gardner!
Many of my favorites have already been listed, but here's some more
Peter O'Tool - Lawrence of Arabia
John Wayne - The Searchers
Bogart- The Maltese Falcon
Orson Wells- The 3rd Man, Citizen Kane
On the lighter side
Basil Rathbone – Sherlock Holmes
Errol Flynn – Adventures of Robin Hood, pirate and cowboy movies
William Powel and Myrna Loy - The Thin Man
Claude Raines, Charles Laughton, Lionel Barrymore also come to mind
sorry for the duplicate post
My favorite old movie is 'Gone with the wind by Clark Gable. Second to that is Pretty Woman Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. This movie always reminds me of second chances. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance.

My favorite Hollywood stars are Sidney Poitier, guess who's coming to dinner and, of course, Robin Williams Mrs.Doubtfire. L
Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracey, Cary Grant (hubba hubba), John Wayne, they really knew how to fill a screen!
I would have to say James Earl Jones and Diahann Carroll. I love to watch Claudine over and over again...I especially liked Diahann Carroll in "Julia".
Loretta Young- Loved here weekly TV shows and my favorite all time movie with her was Christmas Eve. It was one of her last movies.
Kathryn Hepburn---she didn't care what the media said about her or her clothes--she was the first woman to wear a pants suit....
Paul Newman, if he counts as "old" Hollywood.
I think he does! 🙂
Bing Crosby is my favorite old Hollywood actor. My favorite Bing Crosby movies are "White Christmas" and "Bells of St. Mary's."
Gotta say all time fav movie is "Mildred Pierce" with the fierce Joan Crawford......
Second Bette Davis in "All About Eve"
Best male Cary Grant-best all around gentleman!
Jimmy Stewart!
john wayne
Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Judy Garland (Dorothy from Wizard of Oz) Dorothy Dandridge, Shirley Temple, Janet Leigh
I'm in my thirties and I grew up watching them on TV 🙂
Clark Gable "Gone with the Wind" such timeless elegance as an actor and person...
Katherine Hepburn,Gary Grant in the Philadelphia Story, JImmy Stewart classic
Kathryn Hepburn without a doubt.
Jean Harlow - Bombshell...
Spencer Tracy. Anything. Especially, anything with Katharine Hepburn.
Can't leave out The African Queen with both Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn. There are so many movie "couples" that have passed on, and so few that are worthy to replace them. How many still remember, or appreciate, Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman, Henry Fonda, etc. And now Robin Williams has also gone to join their exclusive club.
George Burns
James Cagney-White Heat, Yankee Doodle Dandy, Man of 1000 Faces, Love me or Leave Me, I could go on an on. Back then actors were expected to do it all, act, sing, dance and James C. did it all!
Bette Davis. Any movie with Bette Davis is great.
Gene Kelly in "Singin' in the Rain".

My favorite old school actor is Clark Gable, "Gone with the Wind" fabulous!!!! Close second is Humphrey Bogart, "Casa Blanca".
One of my favorites is Susan Hayward and the movie is "I Want To Live". She was one of the best and "I'll Cry Tomorrow" was another one of hers that I love.
