Nope. Didn't do sports. Too clumsy. I read a lot & watched other kids running. I did have many fine walks in the neighborhood parks & whenever my family took a trip to one of the state parks. I also splashed & swam any time we went to the beach; I learned to swim in Southern High School's pool (it was on William Street then), and had a lot of fun on "open swim" night.
My favorite sport was kickball; you didn't have to worry about the ball hurting you if it hit you. You just have to run run run!
Steal the Flag...neighborhood game
The Parachute was my favorite activity in elementary, but Summertime it was badmiton!
I loved playing lacrosse and soccer in high school and don't even mention being on the school swim team and that is the extent of me and sports. Since that time I am really not as interested maybe as I should be because just getting from day to day seems to take a lot more exercise than it used to. 🙂
