Is there a link in Autism to food additives or contraception?

My son is diagnosed w/PDD-NOS. I'm hoping that more can be done to find a cause or causes and more support is offered for those affected by Autism; to understand how to better their lives.

Thanks for spreading the word about this silent disorder with a life long stigma. JHU and all higher learning institutions must help educate the public about this ASD statistics to eradicate the stigma and to request for additional research funding for early detection, treatment option, or even finding a cure for a growing epidemic that will soon affect over 1.5% of entire world population (i.e, way over 100 million individuals worldwide)
